I found this photo of Don and Melissa (taken 19750 and it struck my fancy. It was taken in Blayney NSW (Australia) mid winter when we were living in the works caravan way out in the bush.

It was a great time. Wages coming in. The ability to travel with the van and a different town each night or so. I loved it.

Melissa was in good pastures and we were so young.

At this time Don was installing underground petrol tanks and pulling themout in other places...

I recal this day as one of the very happiest imaginable.

That young Don's of red-haired Viking stock via Hibernia if ever I saw one. My youngest boy's the same, but slightly deeper red (the hair, not the complexion). Genes will out!
