These are Paper Bark trees (I think) and they are amazing to look at - the patterns really draw you in. The second one looks for all the world like an agonised face trying to get out -
And this has to be the biggest cow plop I have ever ever seen - it dwarfs all the others and I almost trod in it as I was looking through the camera lens.

Amazing trees. You do live in a beautiful place.
Lordy, middle child, how big are the cows in your neck of the woods? Still it's better than being small so that you missed it and stood in it.
Ewww! Im glad you did not step in that!!! The trees are gorgeous though! Hugs xox
Wow, those trees are amazing, they look surreal! Blimey, what are you guys feeding your cows..? Eeeek!
Paperbarks are wonderful trees, but it is madness to use them as street trees. So unsuitable. Cow dung, reminding me of why I like the rose coloured view of the country and not the practical.
The first photo of trees I thought was a painting. Great pictures. Wish our view was half so interesting.
Mom - yes I do and I am savouring it as sometime I will have to leave it - it just costs too much to run
Jahteh - I had to tread warily let me tell you
Karisma - think I would have had to throw the shoes out - and the socks as it would have come up over the shoes for sure
The rose coloured view of the country is a bit like the rose coloured view of the noble savage - you have to cop the dung along with the beauty
Jacqui - its lovely in winter but hellishly hot in summer - I wouldn't go into this little corner in high summer because of the snakes
Shrinky - they are my neighbour's cows - Herefords - and it has been a good couple of years rain wise - the poor things are really fat - if I was them I would try to stay really thin
