Back from Melbourne
I have just arrived back from Melbourne...visited our youngest daughter and had some surgery done as well. I admit to feeling totally buggered and sick but as of this afternoon I think I will live.

Some nice pictures taken are of Alison on my last morning there - she lives in Armadale Vic... now since moving from South Melbourne...the gluten free pancakes and eggs she cooked - she and Andrew and myself as well are all gluten intolerant - so no bread or wheat etc -

and it all tasted great... she made sure it tasted great...lots of maple syrup and in her case peanut butter...lots of butter... the real stuff .

Andrew and Ali

Ali and I

And Ali's childhood friend Toby the teddy bear panda...he was with her since she turned about 15 months old... I got him from a second hand store when she was sick in hospital with Vaccine induced Pneumonia - a condition which nearly killed her...he represents the life she has had since then...I remember watching her "dying" but she didn't luckily...and here she is now 32...someone with love in her heart...someone who can sing to make you cry...someone who is soooo precious...ahhh... and Toby saw it all and no doubt saw more than I can tell

My sister and niece are both gluten intolerant and I've catered two family parties with them in mind and no problems at all. There are so many great gluten free products available these days.
Great photos and especially Toby. I am so glad we were supported in our choice not to immunise after Sarah. So sorry Ali had to go through what she did.
BTW Your girls get more beautiful as they get older.

Hope yuou are all ok after your surgery - take care and look after yourself.

They are lovely photos and Ali is a beautiful woman:-)

Would have been heart breaking watching Ali go through what she did.

I can see you in Ali's smile...she is lovely. Rest Therese, enjoy life....take it easy. How is the cat doing? Did the bib ever really stop it from bird jacking?

You're always so glowing after a visit with the kids.
This pleases me.
Glad to hear that you expect to live after your surgery! :)

There's something 'magical' about teddy bears. I've still got my childhood "Edward" bear that lives on my bed here with me.

Foxymoron - I am luckier than Ali and Andrew because I can have a little bread - gluten free bread tastes like shit - would rather have rice cakes...neither Melissa and Alison will vaccinate after their experiences -and both partners are with them in this so maybe in a generation or two the damage will begin to be undone.

Anne it was heartbreaking watching her - she crashed at about 22 and basically lost her 20's - she is 32 now - she didn't drink or smoke or anything and was always a healthy eater - but she was so badly damaged as a baby with a bad vaccination - that she struggled a lot - I still feel sick inside when I notice her being more tired than usual

Rosemary - No the improved cat bib never did work -this one cat now stays inside all the time - the other one comes and goes and doesn't even look at the birds

Sling - well you know what its like when you see your kids - it is something so special - and as said they are two of the sanest people I know

Maggie May thanks - Varicose veins have been with me since I first got pregnant at 19 - but my mum's were far worse than mine -so no complaints

Mal...Toby is special as you can see I had a black golliwog named Jacky Jacky oooo wahhh - don't know what happened to him...so he wasn't like Toby - I think she would be really sad should anything ever happen to him
