It was a strange day today... I was about to post all of these, but then had an email from a solicitor re my book warning me how litigious Doctors are...I got really down about this as I know i am treading in thin ice re my book, and know that even though I am truthful the doctors involved have endless amounts if cash to fight me....I was feeling really down for the first time in this whole thing...

then a phone call from my youngest Alison with some really good news...can tell here have to wait till she tells her sister first...but I just burst out crying....along with the bad stuff good stuff happens

Email from a solicitor? One you know? If anonymous, there could be a vested interest. Bit hazy, but I don't think you are really going for money are you? The medical insurance company cares about money and probably not much else.

What would you prefer to be called granny, nanny, gran or grandma- is that the good news? Hope so :)

Congratulations on the good news, hope it's what we are all guessing it is.

Did the solicitor (guessing this is a lawyer) read your manuscript? Just wondering if the opinion is based on first hand knowledge or a just a general comment. Lawyers are by nature skittish, risk averse creatures. Not that you shouldn't proceed with caution, but truth is truth.

This is a specialist defamation solicitor I engaged to read the manuscript...no am not suing anyone...just that he warned that even if its truth, Doctors have unlimited fuunds to defend the indefensible...so he has offered to pass it onto a barrister to look over...its a hurdle but int insurmountable...and no Jacqui...not grannie or nannie yet...but our youngest one after a long courtship has good news for us...and I am very fond of him...have to wait till melissa knows...!!!
