Sling's Post about the "Bossa nova" reminded me of

some songs

..tried hard to find the one called "The Stomp" by Little Pattie...but found this from Daddy Cool...think I may have posted one of theirs way back...but still worth a listen... I thought these blokes were great... The Eagle rock is my favourite somehow it reminds me of long summers, a little of the dreaded weed...not much and all organic... and Don out on his surfboard ...a lone surfer on his longboard...he knew where the isolated beaches all were... good memories

Absolutely! We'll be playing Eagle Rock at this Saturday's gig, simply for that very same reason!!! lol

Foxy Moron...a bout 6 years younger than me (i'll be 55 in feb but what a great vintage to be...the music was great.

I failed to say that we had this played about 5 times at our Wedding reception, that and Old Time Rock N Roll, all because it is exactly the music that gets everyone dancing. :)

Sling...they were 'different' and wonderful I though and cazzie had it played 5 times at her wedding as she said.
