Dropkick Murphys.

My eldest daughter Melissa and her husband Chris like the Dropkick Murphys. They combine irish Traditional with Rock sort of bovver boy music - its a bit of fun

I must get the sound sorted out on this computer!!!

I love the bagpipes, they melt me. We had them played at my Dad's funeral and I still (well will proably always) get a bit emotional at hearing them.

Anne the bagpipes are meant to bring us undone...but when the Pom's heard the scots comming down at them in self defense of course...the music was terrifying because they knew that they were up against people who had nothing to lose...the sound of massed bagpipes in war made many turn and run in terror...so there are two sides to the music

I about got my teeth knocked out in the mosh pit when I saw these guys eight years ago. Eight years!!! Thanks for making me feel old. ;-)

Their first album was their best, I maintain, and their second with the new singer was pretty good too, but it's been hit or miss from there.
