What a bastard.
My sister Jackie half a generation younger than me has 3 little Blondie's who rocket around the chilly (that should be "chully") wilds of the very southern most tip of new Zealand. These are wild kids... but lovable.... mostly.
So Christmas is coming and one of them has a birthday so that 4
pressies.... I always give them a book each but each year a really devilish part of me gives them a toy...one which makes noise...hee hee hee
This year its a set of Maracas, a tambourine and a kid's squeeze box... they are going to have a ball.
SOOOO MUCH NOISE!
My eldest sister is going to spend this Christmas with them and when I swore her to secrecy she was quite "disgruntled" and said "Thanks a lot"
Ah dear...every year a good book each and a good loud toy something which gets them moving and making sound...Santy (or is that Sanity... ) would approve...

Brilliant, although it's bitches like you that drive insane mothers like me to our wits end!! LOL!! Where do these raggamuffins live??
This reminds me that I need to buy something very noisy for my brother in law's kids, payback.
cute kids and what's the point of having kids if you can't stand the noise the little darlings make? as they say, better worry about them when they are quiet.
Sibling Rivalry.
a very funny film.

They live right down near Milford Sound, but are in the process of moving to Dunedin.

The gift of music is irreplaceable!..
That's what it is you know.
I've had the good fortune to hang out with some fine musicians in my life, and a few handy percussion instruments to pass out to the young ones is a true gift!
I grew up in Dunedin. Great place for kids to grow up!!!
I gave my grandkids each a squeeze box and those keyboards you can dance on...my revenge to their parents.
