Re my book "Without Due Care" mentioned before - the printers will have the first 100 copies ready by 30th September with the rest to follow shortly after that - the official launch is October 20th at 11am in the Waratah Room at NSW Parliament House - thanks to the Nats Andrew Stoner. I will have a local Book launch after this. The book is important not because it happened to one of the most vulnerable of people physically but it shows how the health system allows and then coverup gross negligence -I learned that within that system, the only one we have - there is no avenue for justice; no accountability at all and no care for my husband apart from a few glowing instance.

I would be happy to send post free and also free the book to my blog mates who basically saw me through the writing of this...and kept me company in the wee small hours when the horror of what happened kept me awake - I owe you all a great thanks for that. All I ask of my Australian friends is that after the book launch date 20th October they might go to their local library and show them the flyer I will send with the book and ask that the library obtain a copy of the book - this will help raise awareness of the book and of the serious issues it covers.

Random Thinker has summed up how I feel. Well done!! In a few days I will email you. I want to buy a copy. I don't want a free one. I've always admired your strength and determination in fighting for your man to have his story told. While not going through what you did (I know may man was in good hands) it's only in the past week or so that I really can see what has driven you and how you want to do everything you possibly can and rest assured you have! Be proud of that!

Ditto what Ann said. I will buy the book. Even though you did not write it to make money, I don't like the idea of you being out of pocket.

People are not all aware that any library WILL order a book they haven't got, if a member asks for it to be got it.
I can manage that without a flyer.

It's a tremendous achievement you Stirrer. peace and love

Anne sadly you do know - I felt so much for you as Peter was weakening - there was much I couldn't say - but I felt for you. Peter was treated with kindness - and because Don wasn't I was driven to seek some form of justice for him

What an amazing lady you are, this is a lasting tribute to someone who appears to have also been a remarkable man. If your book can prevent what he suffered from happening to someone else, your book will achieve much. Many congratulations on a publication date, I have a feeling your husband would be very proud of you!
