a. Its almost 5am now..I might try for an hour's sleep before I have to get going.

I've done Melbourne and back in a car a few times now. i guess salesmen do that all the time now tho... tis not such a biggie anymore! lol

I did the Nullarbor so I win. I also have done Junee to Gunnedah, several times on my own with the kids so I win even better. So there.
We had a tyre blow out at Allentown. No mobile phone service but some council workers came along and changed the tyre for me. I love chivalry.

I would LOVE to drive from one side of the USA to the other. I am a Steinbeck fan and have read and re-read his "Travels with Charley". One thing I hope to do someday (without the dog though).

Team Gherkin...its a fair way...I go to sleep after two hours in the car so was Glad Don did our driving...he could go for hours and seemed to love it.
