Medical science might look down at this diagnosis and orthomolecular treatments in general but after about 20 years of feeling crap treatment with Zinc, some Magnesium and P-5-P B6 has worked wonders. Things started to come right when I could remember my dreams again. A few days later I found my concentration and sense of well being had improved. I'd urge anybody who displays the symptoms listed here to realistically consider Pyroluria as a diagnosis and don't be fobbed off by doctors who will cite 1 report as implying the diagnosis is quackery. Get tested, get treated, be happier. You are the only one truly responsible for your life and don't let anybody fob you off.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18214889.post-85410626681828336392009-04-14T16:56:00.000+10:302009-04-14T16:56:00.000+10:30My husband was recently diagnosed with bipolar di...My husband was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. It was devastating for us at first. I find the information provided in this blog to be interesting and will do more research. One thing I wanted to mention though is that it is difficult living with someone who is depressed all of the time, as I am sure you went through with your mother. I recently read a great book titled, "bipolar bare," by Carlton Davis, a great memoir of the author's life in living with bipolar disorder. After reading the book I now have more compassion for my husband, as well as hope that we will find the correct treatment so that he too can begin to have a happy fulfilling life. Thanks for the tips, maybe they are just what is needed to get him better again.Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05957358850375701366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18214889.post-82037831040135201922009-04-01T16:00:00.000+11:002009-04-01T16:00:00.000+11:00Hey y'allll... have a gander at the blog site for ...Hey y'allll... have a gander at the blog site for "Prozac" above...HMMMMMiddle Childhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09962830669606760640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18214889.post-81178665786420268852009-04-01T15:58:00.000+11:002009-04-01T15:58:00.000+11:00Wouldn't it be wise to just do the simple test des...Wouldn't it be wise to just do the simple test described above BEFORE? Instead have lessened the intensity of the attacks by taking B6, Magnesium, Calcium and Zinc supplements.

Also interesting about the Celtic background. I see it from the other side when people come in and they have tried to stop their meds cold Turkey...it is just awful. Slow and steady wins the race. Doing it properly with guidance and reassurance is the key.
I once attended a lecture that was being conducted by a Chiropracto. He was suggesting to people, no, telling them, that they need not take things such as anti depressants, or even their blood pressure reduction meds anymore because he could fix them with his chiropractor-ee.
I fumed and told him he could endanger everyone there in that room. I told him he was irresponsible. That was 12 years ago. Last year he met his own fete.Cazzie!!!https://www.blogger.com/profile/13856029137337148466noreply@blogger.com
